The Funkin experts trial dozens of varieties of every fruit across the entire range to select the best taste for our cocktails and smoothies. Perfection takes time. Over the years, and through lots of hard work, dedication and air miles, the Funkin team have worked really hard with growers to ensure we are selecting the best varieties, and they are not just any old banana!

We are 100% committed to finding the best fruit on the planet. So much so that we tasted 32 varieties of strawberries from 6 different countries to bring you the Strawberry Daiquiri! In the end it was decided the Funkin strawberry was to be a blend of Honeoye, Elsanta and Symphony strawberries from the finest growers in Poland and Spain.

Funkin Follow the Sun

The Funkin team always sport a healthy tan as we follow the sun as it moves from the Northern to the Southern Hemisphere. We do this so we can pick the best tasting fruit in the heart of the season. Funkin fruit is free to grow under the sun and ripened to bring you the flavour and goodness that old Mother Nature intended. We GUARANTEE that our fruit is never grown in a glass house or drip fed food in a poly tunnel.

Funkin love farmers! These guys have a really tough time feeling the brunt of the climate change and are having to cope with everything from drought to floods to storms to frost. Funkin make a promise to always pay a fair price and build a relationship up so we are first in the queue and can cherry pick the best fruit year in year out.

Our farmer friends make sure Funkin fruit is ripe and ready to pick before we harvest. Through our programme of working with farmers throughout the world, we ensure the best and most flavoursome fruit is picked at just the right time. Synchronise watches everyone!
