Where does Funkin fruit come from?
Where do we start? In our quest to find the freshest, ripest, juiciest and tastiest fruit we have to travel every corner of the globe all year round to pick the best quality seasonal fruit for our cocktail mixers. With map and compass in hand and some sunscreen we were off! Do I really get more fruit from Funkin than chopping fresh fruit?
Apart from the fact the Funkin pouches save you time, mess and fuss with no chopping, squashing or peeling. You use 100% of the fruit cocktail mixer pouch and have no wasted fruit. Funkin take the hard work out but leave the sun ripened taste in every pouch!

How can I look after and store Funkin drinks?
The Funkin range is the perfect friend, all very low maintenance but there just when you need them! The only TLC that is required is to place all products in a cool cupboard or drinks cabinet away from direct sunlight. Once the cocktail mixers, cocktail smoothies and cocktail purees are opened they need to chill out in a fridge for up to 7 days. That’s if you have any left after your party!
How long do Funkin cocktail products last?
All Funkin products last 12 months unopened making them the perfect party ingredient to store in your drinks cabinet. Once opened the Funkin cocktail mixers, purees and smoothies can last 7 days if refrigerated whilst the syrups last 12 months if stored in a cool cupboard. The fruit in Funkin cocktail mixers, smoothies, purees and syrups patiently wait to be opened so they can unpack that sun ripe fruit flavour.
So can you recycle your plastic bottles and cocktail pouches?
Yes and we encourage you to do so. All plastics can be recycled and the puree, smoothie and mixers pouches .We try our best to reduce our carbon footprint here at Funkin and ask that you join us in the quest to look after our planet. After all it gives us the ripest, juiciest fruit so it’s the least we can do.
Just how green is Funkin?
- Funkin products are packaged in recyclable bottles and packaging. This is a much more green option that regular polystyrene foam.
- We have a comprehensive recycling program in place at Funkin production plants, warehouse and offices.
- We recycle a wide variety of items including products discards, paper, cardboard, glass, plastic and more.
- Funkin are working to reduce our carbon footprint where possible.
How do you make sure Funkin fruit is ethical?
We take our social responsibility very seriously! We love farmers and have spent over a decade building up relationships to ensure that we always pay a fair price for our fruit. This also ensures that we get to cherry pick the freshest ripest fruit all year round and ensures we are at the front of the queue to pick the juiciest premium fruit for your cocktails!
Can you freeze Funkin cocktail pouches?
Sorry but no. We want you to enjoy the freshest tasting cocktail so do not recommend freezing. Once opened funkin cocktail mixers last 7 days in the fridge and unopened a whopping 12 months so there really is no need to freeze them!

Does it really matter? We have egg whites for our Morello Cherry Sour Cocktail so we are very happy!
