James Brown (Godfather of Funk)

Ingredients
  • 30ml Chambord
    15ml Sloe Gin
    30ml Funkin Blackcurrant Purée
    15ml funkin Pure Pour Lemon Juice
    20ml funkin Sugar Syrup
    1 Espresso Shot
  • Glass
    • Tall Glass
    • Garnish
      • Crushed Ice Crown and Mint Sprig

  • Blackcurrant , 1 kilo - £9.40
  • Lemon , 1 kilo - £5.60
  • Sugar Cane , 70cl - £6.83

Steps
  • Take one vintage glass, fill with ice and water. Leave to chill.
  • Get a mixing glass, add 30ml of Chambord followed by 15ml of Sloe Gin. Then add 30ml of funkin Blackcurrent Fruit Purée, 15ml of Funkin Pure Pour Lemon Juice.
  • Lastly add 20ml of funkin Sugar Cane Syrup and 1 shot of Espresso coffee
  • Fill mixing glass with ice, cover and shake firmly.
  • Empty contents of the now chilled glass.
  • Double strain the contents of mixer into the glass. If necessary tap strainer to help contents through.
  • Garnish with a crushed ice crown to top up the glass.
  • A cocktail to make James Brown (Godfather of Funk) proud!
